What is Atomic Design?

Atomic Design is a methodology for creating modular and scalable design systems that was introduced by Brad Frost in 2013. The idea behind Atomic Design is to break down user interfaces into their smallest, most basic components, or "atoms," and then combine these atoms to form more complex components or "molecules," and then combine these molecules to form even more complex components or "organisms." This hierarchy of design elements provides a systematic and structured approach to creating UI design systems.

Every element is then created into a component, style, template or page to allow designers to create more consistent and cohesive UI design systems as the app scales over time
